2019 MOOG Hackathon Judge

February 2019 – I was invited by Georgia Tech’s School of Music to be a judge for the 2019 MOOG Hackathon Competition. The School cultivates a rich legacy of musical traditions and develops cutting-edge technologies to help define music’s future. The Moog Hackathon, sponsored by Moog Music, allows students the chance to design and build their own musical instrument with a Moog synthesizer for cash and prizes. Competitors have only 48 hours to create prototypes of their instruments with the first place team awarded entry into the Margaret Guthman New Musical Instrument Competition, and a $3,000 cash prize.
